Especially if you've never loved yourself.
It's hard to pour out emotions to anyone
When you've been conditioned to hold it all in.
Creating a build up of pressure with no release
Just waiting to burst at the slightest inclination taking everyone with it.
It's hard to hate yourself and love another
Their perfections glorify your flaws.
They shed light on the cracks you cover
Until you hold them on high in one hand and dig yourself a grave with the other.
Like somehow they are unflawed and by comparison you are unworthy, unlovable, un....wanted.
You love them and they very well may love you back
But without self-love it's just an explosion waiting to happen.
Love this!
